The Alberta Bair Theater, originally known as the Fox Theater, opened their doors for the first time in 1931. This theater seats 1,400 guests, as they are entertained by talented performers. The Babcock Theater only seats 750 in comparison, and at the time of its erection in 1907, it was considered the largest theater in the area.  This theater has undergone many renovations, but it is now open to a variety of entertaining acts, for all to enjoy.

There are several beautiful mountain ranges that can be viewed from around Billings, including the Big Horn Mountains, Cloud Peak, and the Crazy Mountains.  It has been noted that the drive to Bear Tooth Mountains is said to be the most beautiful drive in America.

Summers are hot and winter months offer crisp dry air. Fifty inches of snowfall is considered to be the yearly average – but thanks to warm chinook winds, snow rarely accumulates or sticks around. Due to its location, Billings is vulnerable to some severe weather conditions, but storms usually travel quickly through the area (about 25 miles per hour). The spring and fall months bring beautiful mild weather, but these seasons are not long.
